I liked Rocky l thru Xll but after XXlll it started getting boring.
I don't think I ever saw Rocky and the other boxer (?) throw a punchs at the same time. It was always one or the other with the blows.
I did like Rocky l and ll the best.

well ..... that does happen in the last scene in rocky 3 where apollo and rocky both punch each others face at the same time. But that was just for fun.

I think sly should really consider making rocky 6 and rambo 4 because there are no good action movies any more like the 80's or early 90's and i think sly is a much better actor than the current lot.

rambo was good but not as good as the rocky series.
first blood 1 & 2 did well but 3rd part was no where near.
As for rocky i suppose every part did pretty good except the 5th one...
It was a big waste.

Yes, it's called "milking the cow dry".
Rocky was very good, II was ok, but the rest were just money-makers.
Like good sportsmen, producers and actors should let a good film or tv prog bow out at the top.

One lasting effect it has had, every time someone goes to do exercise these days, you always tease them about whats on their walkman/mini disc/mp3 stick.

"Dum----dum-dum-dummm EYYYYYYYYYYE OF THE TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGER dum-dum-dum" :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Yeah, I too agree that part 1 and 2 were very good.
Part 1 was very realistic.
The third installment had the 'Eye of the tiger' theme overemphasized while part 4 was a piece of anti communist crap which showed russians as steriod pumping athelets without any human side.
But don't these movies inspire you ?
I mean movies like karate kid( I am talking about first part),kickboxer,Bloodsport...

As for the rocky music, have you heard the training montage by vince di cola
and Hearts on fire...I think the instrumentals are awesome.
Whenever I listen to the rocky music, it makes me feel that i alone can take on all of soviet union.
