 hi everyone....my first time posting!! hooray!! lol
--anyways i have a question for you all....is it possible to connect my desktop computer to my laptops wireless connection? In other words, is it possible to use my laptops wireless connection on my desktops? The reason i ask is that i bought a toshiba satelitte A-75 about 2 months ago, and yesterday i wiped down my keyboard with a slightly damp rag to get rid of the dust/oil...and then all the sudden keys stopped working:eek: !! 24 keys to be exact!!:( anyhow my desktop isnt on a connection and i need the internet and the usage of my keyboard...so i wanna hook my dektop up through the laptops connection! can anyone tell me how to do this...i dont have firewire on my desktop but i do have usb on both compys...can i connect them using the thernet ports? Can anyone give me a step by step!! THNX IN ADVANCE!!

Do you have a wired network card on both the laptop and the pc?

Awesome, if you can get enough keyboard use to set it up... you can use a cross over cat5 cable between the 2 computers, then set up ICS on the computer with the broken keyboard. This process is pretty simple... just open your network connections goto the properties of you LAN connection, click on the advanced tab, and check internet connection sharing. There shouldn't be any keyboard use except passwords and such.

I recomend you go get a new keyboard since you'd have to go buy a new cable, but this will do what you are looking for.
