I recently went to back up parts of the hard drive and burn it to CD, using Nero. Just before I went to burn the CD I remembered I had another program to add to the "Lib Software" folder. As a precaution I went to drag the file out of Nero in case it didn't burn it with the new added program. I think I double clicked on the folder by accident and now I can't find it. I have checked the recycle bin, done a search on Lib Software, Lib, Software but it doesn't show up. Where do I find it?
Cheers.

Goto START/FIND/FILES or FOLDERS and search for it....
If you didnt "DELETE IT" Its somewhere on your computer (MAKE SURE YOU SELECT "SHOW HIDDEN FILES" under VIEW/FOLDER OPTIONS in case its hidden.......
Good Luck & Welcome to CTH :)

Thanks dude, I tried again a second time but still zero. I'm running Windows 98 in case that's a help. If for some reason it has been deleted, although it doesn't appear in the recycle bin, how do I go about recovering it from the hard drive.
Cheers.

Download a program called REST3213 (http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html) (restoration.zip) It allows full recovery of deleted programs AS WELL AS TOTAL WIPE OUT OF ALL DELETED SECTORS making recovery almost IMPOSSIBLE!!
Good Luck :)

Have been away for a couple of weeks, hence the silence. It seems to have well and truely disappeared so back to creating a new one and will back up this time. Thanks for all your help.
