I am very new to this!So please excuse my mistakes.Ok!Here we go.I have been trying ms-dos_6 to get an old pentium 11 333 mhz booted to win 98 se.Well it booted To FAT16.win 98 se installed with 2 gb of avable 17.5 gb hd.So I was looking on Bootdisk.COM.Downloaded The second bootdisk offered for win 98 se to floppy.I went thru the steeps to install. It seemed to be working good.Untill I tryed to install win 98 se.I get error message NTLD is missing.press any key. When I push a key I get the same message. If I reboot it returns the error message NTLD is missing.I tyred to start over with the booydisk, and fisdisk. No luck.I have been unable to boot up ms-dos_6 error says unable format .Seems when I formated I used command formatc: Instead of formatc:/s now what.I checked Webopedia It says to reboot with win 95 or win 98 with sys.com on it Then at the A:\> type sys c: Then after prompt of system transferred thake the floppy pot and reboot.I am not sure what bootdisk to pick of the list at bootdisk.com to get the sys.com.I am not sure what to do next?

Welcome :)

NTLDR is a Windows NT/XP file and should not be relevant to your problems unless you used the incorrect bootdisk that was designed for NT/XP.

Follow these tutorials to partition and format.

The the drive previously contain Windows NT/2000/XP?

Using the links provided and maybe http://www.russelltexas.com/delpart.htm you should be able to delent any partition and files that reside on it.
