IE Explorer

Running Windows 98 Second, IE Explorer 6.0, Outlook Express, Incredimail.
When I go to IE Explorer, tools, Connections, I set the "Always dial my default connection", hit Apply and OK. This will normally brings up the program (i.e., IE Explorer, Outlook EXpress, Incredimail) with the connection dialog box. But the setting keeps changing to, "Never dial a connection" causing me to lose the dialog box. I have another computer with the same programs and this does not happen. Compared the settings and I believe they match. Help please.

Have to ask this. When you tick the 'always dial my default connection', do you hit the apply tab or just the Ok tab? Always hit Apply and then Ok..
Just a thought as I went through this before with someone else.:wave:

Also in conections/settings is it set for automatically detect settings? good

You may also have to completely remove the connection manager from 'My Computer' Dialup manager and reinstall. Then reinstall all info required in
In tools/advanced/connections after you replace 'my connection'.;)
