Ok here goes. Years ago I had my computer built as a win 98/NT4 sp6 dual boot. My 30 gig hard drive was partitioned for each OS (fat32/NTFS) and a C drive (fat) was common between the two. What I want to do now is wipe out the NT partition and convert it to fat32. The big question is, will win 98 still boot after I reformat the nt partition to fat32? Thanks.

Welcome :)
You can format the NTFS partition, but you cannot revert it to FAT unless you use a third party utility and even that may have problems.
You can use partition software to delete the NTFS partition and create a FAT partition.
I would recommend a program such as Partition Magic to delete and recreate the partition as FAT32.
Although you could do it with FDISK and you may need to use DELPART
