I just bought a new mp3 jukebox and I am having difficulty transferring files to it from my computer. Apparently about 75% of my mp3s are labeled as system files, which cannot be transferred. I have no idea why they are system files, I certainly did not save them that way. Does anyone know how can I change the files so I can use them? Thanks in advance ;)

Welcome to CTH

Right click on one of them then go to Open With, select the program you want to use, make sure you check the box ALWAYS USE THIS PROGRAM.....

If Open With is not there, then hold down the SHIFT key and right click on the file, Open With should now be there.

Thanks for the welcome.

I think I may not have been too clear in my original question. I can open the files fine, I can play them on my computer in any media player. The problem arises when I try to transfer them to my mp3 player. Some of my files would transfer, while others would not. What I found to be the pattern in the files is that when I right click the files that will NOT transfer, and go to properties, the "system file" check box is checked, and not able to be unchecked. The files that WILL transfer to the mp3 player do not have that box checked. I'm not sure what happened, I know that my mp3s should not be system files. How do I change them so that they are NOT system files and so I can transfer them to my mp3 player?

Thanks again!
