Wireless Internet Connection.... Please help!

I have a desktop and a laptop. I have a DSL connection... I will soon be buying a Wireless G router... My laptop will be wireless, but NOT the desktop... There is just one propblem... My desktop has NO Ethernet port! I heard that I can use an Ethernet Adapter to make this work... To explain, I want to run an Ethernet cord from the router, and have the Ethernet Adapter connected to the end of it, so that it can plug into my computer via USB... My question is... Will this connection work with the USB? I'm so sorry that this is confusing! :dizzy:

its very easy, and will work..but usb is flaky at networking. why not just install a network card in the pc (its just as easy and cheaper).
