Something about registering documents :S

hi

whenever i open a new blank ms office 2003 document get the message "This document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create links from other documents to this document"

i can then go on to create my document and save it without any hassle, is there any reason why i keep getting this message at the start?

i also get a similar message when trying to save a document in ms paint, "unable to register document. the document may already be open"

yet it carries on saving and is availible for viewing later on.

im really confused as to whats happening any ideas?

Do you have the original cd and is it properly register and activated by you?

yeah, it was working fine for a few weeks and then it went all stupid
