Hey all,
Just trying to figure out how to setup a norton update server do I have to have the computers directly connected together. I am also having problems with it taking to long to log into Windows XP on the domain.

I am not clear on what you are trying to do here sorry. First of all tell us what you wish to do. Nextly when you say "do I have to have the computers directly connected together" what do you mean? Is this a network if so how is it laid out? Give us some info and we might be better able to provide a fix or offer advice.

Assuming you have the software, the server itself should be easy to setup, just follow the directions. This requires a symantec update server, which is usually available to coporations. After that, configure your symmantec antivirus clients to connect to a server durring the install (note, you will likely have to reinstall the clients).
It should be said that this is only available for symantec clients, not norton.
