Hey all just a quick question when you put items into quarantined are you meant to delete them or leave them there? Can this also be done in ad aware? With that also it wont let me get rid of ist bar how can you get rid of it i have had it before but have forgotten how to. I remember trying to manually remove it but that screwed my computer right over and had to get it re installed. Thanks for your time much appreciated. :)

Hello,

I recently had the same problem with the IST spyware. Download Hijack this and post your log in the forum Cyber Safety. If you can't find a link to Hijack this, search Cyber Safety as it is listed there.

They will look at your log and tell you step by step what you have to do to remove this pest.

I can tell you that IST cannot be removed with Spybot or Microsoft Antispyware. It may claim to, but you will get the same annoying message at startup.

Post the hijackthis log, there is a chance it cannot be deleted because of other problems. You can delete anything in quaratine within norton.
