I'm facing a small issue concerning my MS Office Word Software and an "Add-In" I previously downloaded from the Net which I found to be useless and would like to remove it from the "Insert" dropdown tab of MS Word and in whole from my system. Here is some relative info. that could probably be useful in assessing or determining what has to be done: The file downloaded is very small and is called "Barcode Works" which is a Freeware Add-In for Microsoft Word. Its used to insert EAN-8, EAN-13 and ITF Barcodes into an MS Word Document. The plug-in installs itself in the startup folder from your MS Word Application. I gathered this information from the website from which this product was downloaded but any real useful information isn't found, like..."how to uninstall\delete\remove"! If anyone knows how to remove this obstrusive text\file from my system and from the "Insert" dropdown tab on the menu, please don't hesitate to assist me! Thank You In Advance!
PS
Product Name: Barcode Works v 2.6 Beta

Without looking in depth into that macro, I'd say it has attached itself to your "Normal" document template and renaming "normal.dot" to "normal.old" should stop it from starting up.

According to the information in the pdf file that comes in the zip file for Barcode Works: To de-install remove ‘bkw.dot’ from your MS-Word startup folder. To find this folder choose‘uninstalling Barcodeworks…’ from the tools menu. Your startupfolder will be opened in the background. You should remove the file yourself if Barcodeworks is not uninstalled when choosing ‘uninstalling Barcodeworks…’. Make sure you close MS-Word before removing the file.

When I look under the "Tools" tab in Word I do not see anything that says "Uninstalling Barcodeworks". Would you then know how I should proceed?
I would really like to remove this because it can get quite annoying to see "Barcode Works" everytime I chose to "Insert" anything in Word.
PS Thanks for your replies and assistance in this matter and any other solutions you might have to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
