Hello

I use wireless lan conection. On my LapTop I have a built in wireless conection. Today accept my built in card I put one more card. They both worked. If they both work does my computer use only one for the internet and if it uses both is the internet going to be faster.

You won't get a faster speed from the internet. That is determined by your modem. You could possibly get more speed from the network, but if both are wireless then you are sharing bandwidth on the wireless connection.

To clarify this... even if you had 2 internet connection and used one for each card, it wouldn't help you. Your computer can only negotiate one connection at a time. There is a technology call multiplexing and port trunking, however, these are used at the switch and router level to ballance individual client connections between the connections. Unfortunately, while port trunking can be used on a computer, it is only effective on incoming connections.
