After I log into my Juno account, I can surf the web fine.
When I try to use internet explorer I get the "web page cannot be found error"
I have my settings set to "Automatically assign an IP address"
Also, I notice a "...dns error" message along the bottom of the internet explorer web page I am trying to open.
Why I can't use internet explorer to surf the web?

Hi, I don't have the answer for you. I have been receiving calls about the same problem from a number of friends. Last night I helped one friend with hers. We were able to get things running okay again only by uninstalling IE, restarting the system, then re installing it. At one point we also ran the IEFix file located at: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm
I can't honestly say which part fixed the problem. I ran all adware, spyware, and antivirus before hand to ensure nothing "known" was infecting the system.
I don't know what was causing the problem, only that something in the above steps fixed it-- at least for now. I'd like to know what is causing this issue, as it seems to be quite prevalent.
Good Luck

My guess is that Juno comes with its own web browser. If you wanted to use IE you would have to make it the default browser and then set it up to work with juno.

I got this issue resolved. ;)
It was a setting in my firewall sofware that I had to change to "permit" Internet Explorer to access the internet.
