A Strange Problem

I hope this is the right place for this topic.

I have a strange networking problem with my laptop.

In my flat we have a 1Mb broadband internet conection that is used by three computers with the use a of a ethernet router.

Recently when i have plugged the network cable into my computer it has caused the computer to hang for a few seconds and then blue screen for just a second and then restart the laptop. I have no idea what is going on with the computer, if anyone can give any advice i would be really thankful.

Try uninstalling your network adapter drivers via Device Manager, and rebooting. Perhaps the device is having some sort of issue when it is called on for use.
