We've taken great care to ensure that Microsoft Time Zone operates correctly, but it is not part of Windows and is not supported by Microsoft. For this reason, Microsoft Technical Support is unable to answer questions about Microsoft Time Zone.

Happy to put their name alongside it but quick to disown any problems...ROFL!
No notice of who IS the developer so you can give a bug report. I assume that when installed there is credit to the developer - oops, better not assume that - I bet it just says Microsoft.

So what's the benefit of this 780Kb (which is only XP compatible) over all the freeware (non-spyware bundled) time apps that are probably smaller in file size, less resource hungry and possibly supported by a known developer?
e.g. http://www.nonags.com/nonags/timec32.html (Disclaimer* I do not certify any of these to be spyware, am merely demonstrating the free availability of such downloads)

Anyway the standard KDE clock lets me view any timezone I want without a new app :p

I checked the first few smurfy but couldnt find a program that offers the same features. Which of those apps can show me the correct time in 5 cities throughout the world in my System Tray based on my computer time (and more if I wish to tackle the options)?

I downloaded Emsa Time Synchronizer but it caused problems with my Desktop (couldnt get out of Classic View so I had to uninstall it, which wasnt easy, I kept getting a nag about registration).

He he he.

Actually, I had to Google Image search just to find a screenie of how the Microsoft clock does it
http://www.sbslinks.com/images/timezo4.jpg

So now I am struggling to find a freebie that does it exactly like that. :)

Similar but $14.99 shareware!

I have used (In Win98 & 2000)
http://www.mirage1.u-net.com/cloxscr.htm (Clox)
and
http://www.programming.de/download.php (WorldTimeClock)
before but they don't do the clever little pop-up in the systray (that I can recall).

Ah, I should have posted a screenshot to show what it does. :)
