Hi
I have a wireless broadband connection and two cordless phones in the house. The trouble is that when I am online and I answer the phone I can hardly hear what the person on the other end of the line is saying. There is also a constant drone that really interferes with the phone line. Apart from getting a corded phone is there anything I can do? I thought microfilters were designed to help with this? Any advice much appreciated.
Thanx

What frequency are the phones? Are the bases close to the wireless AP? When you are usig the phone are you near the wirless devices while on the phone and having this problem?

I dont know the frequency of the phones. One base is about 5 feet away in the same room which is upstairs, the other base is downstairs. Even when I answer the phone downstairs (and my broadband is on) I get the same problem. Hope this helps you to help me!
thanks

i had the same problem, low volume while on DSL(+ filters )and the 900mhz cordless phone at the same time.i upgraded the cordless phone system to 5.8 ghz and no more problems w/the volume.if you upgrade at the 2.4 ghz phone level, the problem could be fixed,if not try 5.8ghz

The only problem with the 2.4 is that it could interfere with the wireless signal then. That is why I was asking about the phones. I had one then I got my wireless router and they interfered with each other. Now I have the 5.8 and have no problems. Microwave ovens can also interfere.
