Is there a way around activating Office 2003?

First, I must let you know that I am stuck with a very slow dial up connection, so if there is any way i can avoid re-downloading this miserable piece of software, I'll take it. I have finally found a serial that would let me convert the trial version of Office 2003 to the full version, but now my problem is that the limit has been reached for the activation of this product. So I ask, is there any way I can get around activating this, and what, if any, are the disadvantages if I don't?

Thanks Much!
