Internet Answering Machine

I have only one telephone line, and use dial-up. I am interested in downloading a free utility that will serve as a telephone answering machine while I am connected online. It should alert me as to incoming calls while I am online, and identify the incoming phone number. Can you reccomend the best utility meeting these requirements? Thank you.

Its always good to scan for spyware after ANY INSTALLATION of programs if you are unsure.......

I know alot of ppl with this and none have reported anything.....

Your guess is as good as mine :)

Do a scan after install just to be sure and if it does install any,DELETE ALL THE SPYWARE CRAP........ But i dont think it does.......

Thanks, but I am also looking for a utility that does not ram adware down my throat, either. Even before CallWave was fully activated, it started shoving ads onto my browser taskbar.

Edit: Okay, I got burned worse than I thought. CallWave is still on my taskbar, and I can't delete it from my files. How do I remove this leech?

DELETE ALL CALLWAVE FILES THAT WERE INSTALLED AND TRY TO RESTORE YOUR REGISTRY FROM 1 DAY EARLIER,that will take care of the toolbar.......

It sounds like Callwave isnt very good after all.............Please lemme no how you make out
