Hi Guys, I have old photo's sent to me in a file format called: Max. Is there anyway I could change this format to Jpeg, for instance. I did find out how to open them, but this was in Paperport Viewer. This program will not allow you to edit the photo's. I am desperate, so any advice would be deeply appreciated.
Cheers.:(

Does the Paperport software offer the "Save As" option on the File menu? If so, open the pic in Paperport, then save them in a different format...hopefully, jpg will be one of the options in the "Save as Type" drop down list.

There should be icon links on the bottom of the paperport window, at least one of which should be a graphics program. Possibly only paint. It is a customizable feature. You drag the max icon for the unopened photo onto the appropriate graphics program icon and it should open it. Then save as what ever option the graphics program gives you. There are probably others ways to do it but I don't have paperport on this computer so I'm going by old foggy memory.

I tried the Save as , Miz, but no good. I will go back and have another look at Paperport Viewer, Oink.
Thanks to both of you for your help. I really appreciate it.;)

If you can't figure it out I know where a computer is that has it on it and I can refresh my memory. I used it fairly extensively at one time.
