This really isnt a computer problem so I think its ok to ask this question.
I know lufbra installed ME and then had nothing but problems,I been running it now since the first week it was out and I am on my third install, but because of me not ME fault.
so lets hear what your all running and are you going to upgrade soon?

Windows 98 SE. Planning to upgrade to Linux. The only thing that is slowing me up is the lack of a good browser to run under Linux.

Hi
I usually run WIN98, but right now I am running a beta of Microsofts new operating system. I have had it on a little lover a week now and so far so good.

Windows 2000 Professional

Love the OS but I am seriously considering moving to Linux because it's not so much a of a memory hogger.

I was runnin same thing as Junky till two weeks ago. I just upgraded to Win 98 first addition.

At work I just installed Win98 SE on 145 PCs. They are running just fine.

No plans to upgrade any time soon.

ok junky running the oldest so far but I bet somebody still has 3.1 running somewhere
mod SE got rid of a lot of bugs 1ST edition had, much smoother.
I think if you dont know your tech stuff on windows, you should run ME less problems

Way back when I was in the Navy on my second ship I actually had a 286 with 8Mb RAM and a 20 Mb hard drive running Win 2.1, and we were thrilled in the shop because we could automate a number of our processes. Started programming with dbase and within a month or so, if the PC went down people were screaming. The little 286 didn’t like getting underway too much (it got sea sick), too much up and down and side to side. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/eek.gif Sorry, I’m getting off topic. Lets see:

ME on my PC at home
Win2k on my lap top
Win2k on my PC at work
95b on 400 or so PCs
98SE on a hand full of lap tops
NT4 Workstation on one
NT4 Server Enterprise on 16
Win2k Server on one
Win2k Advanced Server on one
And two with some flavor on Linux

Umm, I think I go them all. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/wink.gif

Windows has crashed.

One machine running Win98, Red Hat 6.1. My daughter(5) is the only one who knows how to run our Etch-A-Sketch 1.0 machine. These kids, they are so comfortable with technology. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/wink.gif
