Gettin' ready for the big weekend. DAYTONA 500!!!! Yesssssss! Gentlemen.......Start your engines, the racing season is here.

I just put one of our cars in the trailer and will be heading for the track Friday morning. Gotta put the TV in the motorhome so I can watch the big one Sunday.

Romance?????? We interupt this marriage to bring you the racing season!

Gave her flowers and sent her bowling.

I've been working extra hours the past two weeks so I'm alittle burned out. Brain fried.

Here's a liittle background on how MOD more or less got started in his idea of racing.

When He was just (well lets say knee-high to a grasshopper) , he had this dream of
becoming a racecar driver in the DAYTONA 500!!!

One day walking the twenty five mile shortcut home from school, he stumbled across the seed which started ( the dream! Among other dreams but thats another story <grin> ). After looking at his find his small although determined mind started to THINK on how to capitalize on this great discovery.

So excited he ran home the last ten miles to tell his father about his wonderful find. Being as always a thoughtful father, he looked at his brand new/just received family car and said to his son "my boy maybe we could combine the two too create a real winner!!!! "Wow dad that would be neat!!"

Father and son began this (secret mission) cus mama would not allow this if she knew. They finely finished this..hmmm..project with moma never suspecting why her new Model T was still in the repair shop for five and half years.... The end result was breathtaking .......Mods Racecar!!!

So the last hurtle was the hardest of all!! You guess it... MAMA!! Dad and son tried to explain the best way they knew how, by showing off their racecar to her.

Moma looked at the racecar then looked at poor Mods face, turned towards DADDY.... HER REPLY WAS?!?

I'm beginning to think that the rumors I've been hearing about go.com closing might just be true...

First hotbot and maybe go.com...sheeesh. It seems either the big fish are swallowing the smaller fish these days much faster or for them to stay afloat they need to cut back here or there....

I sure hope its not true about go.com...

Hi. I'm bringing this thread back up because I've spent some time today downloading my folders/gifs/pics etc etc to my harddrive from Go.com, so when they do close their doors (sort of) I will have saved most if not all!!!

*IF* by chance any MODS see one of my images broken in say the next week or so,
