Hello
I'v been having problems with lego star wars. I am able to enter into the game and get into the main menu and doodle fine around there but when i try to play the actual game the screen goes black.... Then a message pops up from the actual monitor itself which says "No Signal." and then it turns off just like it would if you to put it on stand by with the green light that turns to yellow.
This is a four month old computer so i dont think it would be my video card?

Im struggling alot and would greatly appreciate if someone could help.

Hi stu, welcome to the forum.

Do you know what sort of video card your computer has? Just because it is new, doesn't mean it has a good gaming video card. Can you play any other high spec 3d video games?

This game has the following minimum requirements:
System: Pentium III 1GHz (or Athlon equivalent) or equivalent
RAM:256 MB RAM
Video Memory: 32 MB VRAM
Hard Drive Space: 2200 MB
DirectX Version: v9.0

hi

yeh i'm able to play battlefield which is like 32 - 64mb vram.
I forgot to say that when i do go to play the game i can actually hear whats meant to be happening on the screen, for example, i can hear the punching and kicking when i press the key, or the guys sabre sabre swirling around.

OK, well that's a good sign.
It sounds like the game is just outputting signal at a setting your Monitor can't handle, not one that your Vid card can't handle.
There's very little in the way of tech support online for this game yet.
When you're in the menu, try setting the video/graphics options as close as posssible to the settings you use on your desktop.
So if you run your desktop at 1280x1024 True Colour (32bit) don't try to run the game at 800x600 16bit, try it at 1024x768 24bit etc.

I don't want to beat this do death, but I am having the same issue.
I know that my machine meets the minimum requirements by a shot.

Sempron 3100
DDR400 512
Radeon 9700 Pro
DX 9.0
Plenty of HD space (200 GB total with plenty of open space)
The only thing I don't have is an aux audio, I am using on board audio.
I do have an Audigy sound card that I can put in.

I am wishing to get to the bottom of this so that I can enjoy this game and the new one coming out this fall. The game ran fine until I updated the video card to the Radeon. I was running an GeForce 400MX, with an emulator. It ran fine but I didn't see all the extra stuff.

If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
