Disk can not boot. Boot sector is damage. I tried to add the drive as a secondary drive to another machine to recover the data but the system doesn't recognize the disk.:blush: Anyone out there know of a good utility program that will help me read the data from a damage disk?

Can you tell us what the exact error was when you tried to boot the drive "before" you put it in another computer? You may just need to fix the mbr or chkdsk and have the drive working again.
