Windows 2000 Pro won,t shut down

A number of times the pc won,t shut down ,programmes not responding
A2 squared is one that often won,t close,this is a free virus programme

often a symptom of a nasty on board.

Haven't heard of A2 squared so not sure how effective it will be.

Hi I have found "non cleanable "virus I- Worm/Mytob.FW can.t find where it is ,as the display gets as far as ...Admin\Local?????how do I get rid of it as they don,t say uncleanable for no reason.

You should be able to boot into safe mode then run a scan using something up to date and remove it that way.
