I refomatted the hard drive on my laptop and now I can't get it to access my cdrom drive so I can reinstall windows. Any suggestions? The laptop is an old IBM thinkpad that orginally just had a floppy drive, I took it out and put in the cdrom. :rotflmao:

Hi,
Have you checked in the BIOS to see that the CD is activated/FIRST BOOT
On the boot floppy disk ? is it one you got from an other PC with win98 or down loaded from the net.
you may have to put the CD driver on to the floppy for it to be transfered over insted of the one that comes with windows.
