Unhappy Windows 98 Display Problem

Allright this is really weird problem i recently installed window 98, i have intel extreme graphics card, and have driver for that i know it is right driver but when i install it windows doesnot start, iif i remove that driver it starts with vga mode and with only 2or 16 bit color option. i dont know what to do please somebody help me

exactly what graphic card do you have? Also tell a little more about your computer, cpu, ram harddrive size/space available. What graphic card are you replacing?

Windows 98 Display problem

OK here is the whole story, I have Celeron 2.2 ghz with IM845GL Motherboard, It has Integrated Intel (r) 82845gl Graphics Memory controller HUB(gmch), 80gb hard disk, 1 gb of ram i have dual booting so my windows xp works fine but recently i installed 98 now in 98 it wont take the drive for this card if i install the drver 98 does not start in normal mode.
