defrag and virus checkers stop halfway

Both my virus checkers a -squared and AVG both stop halfway and always on an Opera 8 Beta file,which turns out to be a picture of someone in a wheelchair,an unknown jpg file.
I ran defrag to see if that would help and that stops halfway through.Can anyone please help

Run Defrag. in SAFE MODE

Sometimes anti-virus programs conflict with defrag. Doesn't look like in your case though. Yeah just do it in safe mode. Before defrag, you should do a disk cleanup first.
