Computer reboots involuntarily

Hello folks,
I am on my mother's computer and when I log onto the internet, the computer reboots without any warning. I need some help on how to make it stop. This reboot has started after when I loaded Kodak software for the new digital camera. Thanks in advance for your help. My mother is getting really frustrated.

Cisage

PS I will post a Hijack log on the Cybersafety for you to check for me. Thanks again.

Hi Cisage, we checked your log and it's fine. If the PC only reboots when you are on the Internet, have you tried uninstalling the Kodak software from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel?

Hello Ann Marie ~warm smiles~
I have removed it from the remove/modified panel of Control Panel. I have reinstalled the software and it still gives the same trouble... However, I did have to use the Kodak website to download an alternate software because of known MS problem with W2kPro and Existing kodak software. I went back to the the modified and unchecked the section that requests to check updates of the kodak software. ~shrugs~ It can get rather frustrating when you have done what you know can be done, short of uninstalling the kodak software.

It just rebooted on me again! Time online lasted about thirty minutes and I quickly saw the Bad Spooler C... I think that might be the culprit.

Thanks
Cisage

Rats. Are all service packs for 2K installed on her PC Cisage? If not, perhaps that will help.

Good luck Cisage. If you still have problems, what model camera is it? I dont mind searching on the net to see if I can find some help for you. Someone else may have had the same problem and found a fix.
