I don't see anything wrong with what they're doing. Could be they raise them for the fur???

I still remember the story of... Little Red Riding Hood & the BIG BAD WOLF SO There.... http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/tongue.gif

wunchie.. wolves are on the endangered species list.. both grey and red wolves.. they are extinct in most parts of the world and government sponsored groups are trying to reintroduce them to regions of the U.S. and abroad.. even Poland protects their wolves now as they are almost extinct there. Unfortunately, hunting of wolves is still allowed in Alaska and Canada.. the sale of their pelts is still ILLEGAL.

Wolves are not raised in captivity for their fur.. they are raised in open compounds so they can be released into the wild. Killing a government tagged wolf in the lower 48.. in most states.. carries a 10,000 fine and jail time. One rancher in the west killed one, but showed where the wolf he killed supposedly killed one of his calves. He was paid $1000 for the calf by wolfsource.org, and after exhaustive investigation by authorities, no evidence that a wolf was even on his property existed. He did shoot and kill his own dog though and left the body loaded with poison, on the edge of his ranch proper.. where wolves found it, ate it, and now six wolves, a couple foxes, and other carrion eaters they haven't found.. ate off his dog and died.

sorry.. but the waste of an endangered animals life for the sake of 'sport hunting' sickens me to my core. Eagles will be next, do you think they raise them for their feathers? Allowing the sale of endangered animal hides ANYWHERE only promotes the slaughter.

I just want it known I no way support trapping whether its legal or not, I do not condone any type of savage killings for pelts
I hope all sign this petition to stop ebay from selling wolfs pelts or any pelts.
there is just to much good synthetic material
to need any live animals.

EBAY took them down.... Because their rules say no animal parts can be sold there... I don't think its illegal to sell wolf pelts in this country though as long as they were killed in a legal way.....

It's illegal to kill rattlesnakes here but like do you think I am going to worry about the law if one gets near me. Don't see any difference in wolf pelts than ostrich, snakeskin, etc. and wolves run in packs and kill a lot of livestock and poultry. I've took shots at them before and foxes. Damn wolves have killed two of my dogs before. Plenty of wolves around here and I don't know of any farmers that won't kill them if they see them. I don't agree with torture killings though.

IDnew, there are no wild wolves in Florida. The only wolves in this state are in protected compounds down near Orlando and Tampa. Coyotes are prevalent in the state, and that's what you've been shooting. Coyotes are NOT on the endangered species list, Wolves ARE. Aligators are no longer on the Endangered Species List, and as such, the controlled hunting of them has been re-established in Florida.

Bald Eagles are endangered also, are you going to shoot one because it takes a chicken? Shame on you.

I think I know the difference between a coyote, of which yes there are plenty, and a wolf. Yeah and if I happen to see an eagle constanly feeding on my poultry if I still had poultry your dang right I'd shoot it just like I'd shoot a chicken hawk.

Bleeding hearts that don't know a thing about farming make me sick. Protect this protect that. B.S.

over 3900 signatures!!!!!! EBay is still not policing their auctions very closely.. besides selling endangered species parts, they have also had auctions for human body parts, etc...disgusting that they allow such things to go on..

Thank you for your support to make EBay clean up their act!!!!! Hugz

Are you kidding, human body parts? OMG! The 3900 signatures is wonderful...Rosie, you know I was just at the EZ board new CSC board and they are trying to use "offers" to help raise money; okay, I don't even understand that too well but a question was asked...would you use E-Bay (not sure it was necessarily use E-Bay, something to do with the offers - as you can see I don't understand the offers deal), but anyway, I thought of the wolves right away....think I'll go back over there and make a comment or two!

Thanks for keeping us up on it!
