Hi gang.Suddenly getting a sporadic blue screen error message "KMODE-exception not handled" followed by a various string of numbers.I suspected my video card , uninstalled the driver and reinstalled ,and the problem has gotten "better" but not completely solved. Is there any way of reading the address's of the error as to determine a solution? Also does windows keep an error log of this type of event,if so where is it located? Thanks for any help you can provide, this ones a head scratcher.

Hi,

Does this sound anything like the error you're getting ?

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;275678

Follow the troubleshooting tips at the bottom of the article if it does.

You can also review the Event Viewer (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer) but the logging in Windows really should be better than it is imo.
