RS232 to USB adapter

Have not been able to get a RS232 to USB adapter to work on my computer.
This is to connect a digital camera to the usb port, any ideas
computer is a Dell, Pent IV, with windows 2000 Prof :upset:

You might be better off with an expansion card to do that. If you have a spare PCI slot you can get a PCI card with USB2 ports such as this (http://www.papyrus.co.il/Products/usb_2_0_pci_card.htm). There are a variety of such cards starting with 2 USB ports.

Those adaptors that you mentioned are not successful for many real USB devices. BF
