To those outside the UK, the "gentleman" pictures is a right little tosser who used to be in a boy band. He is in intensive care with multiple fractures and internal injuries after running over himself with his Mercedes in an "alleged" suicide attempt.
I still can't work out how you can run over yourself with a car. It's easy with a motorbike, just flip over the bars. Indeed, dirt bikes can run you over several times during a failed hill climb attempt, but to do it with a car takes ingenuity and good reflexes, I'd imagine

"It looks as if Brian was reversing down the road with his door open, looking out to see where he was going, and the door hit a parked car which sent his car out of control…somehow he was thrown from the vehicle and crushed.”
The manager revealed that Harvey’s injuries include a broken leg and six breaks to the pelvis.
He added: “His abdominal area was pushed very high into his chest, they had to drain his lungs yesterday and there was also damage to his ribs… people have speculated it might be a suicide attempt but I don't think you could plan this if you tried. There are easier ways to kill yourself. It was just a freak accident and a piece of seriously bad luck."

No probs Roxie, this is almost the Darwin Awards fan club. I love that one about the bloke with the ballons tied to his chair - pure gold.
On a side note, I followed a car to work each morning for a few weeks. It took a while to sink in, but I eventually realised the sticker on the back was not a "God Squad" fish, but in fact a fish with legs and the legend "Darwin" in the middle. Very funny.
