Howdy:
Do you mean "reboot" or "re-install"??
To re-boot, simply sut it down and restart it!!

Okay.. Win98SE's are self-booting..
Just make sure your first boot device in BIOS is set for the cd-rom.. Put the Win98SE cd in the drive, save the change to BIOS and reboot..
From there, just follow the prompts!!

Did you get the manual with your computer?? If so, it will show you the BIOS (setup) setting in there..
Just watch your screen as it is starting.. It will tell you what key or combination of keys to press to enetr setup (BIOS)..

Did you Boot from the CD? When the Windows 98SE loads select option 1 which will boot with CD-ROM Support. When it finishes loading all the necessary drives and if it Loads to the Blue Screen of Windows 98SE Setup exit the setup screen and make sure it is in DOS (Disk Operating System) It will have a drive letter indicating which drive it is on. Type format c: or whatever you have selected as you main hard drive. You want to format the hard drive first and then you should have no more problems trying to re-install Windows 98SE. I would also download this program Unofficial Windows 98 SE Service Pack 2.0.1:

When you put the boot floppy into a: drive and boot your system, are you getting the options to boot with the cd-rom, without cd-rom, etc??
Once you made your choice there, do you end up with just an a:> prompt on your screen??

Well i put the cd and the floppy disc in at the same time
then it auto load to the screen where it looks like this(kinda from wat i remember)
1 Boot with cd support
2 Boot without cd support
3 I think this is help option
ok i chose the first one (boot with cd support)
Well tat is basically wat i did...
oh yea it does end up like with the A thing

Good.. that's where you should be..
Next, you type in "format c:" (no quotes) and press <enter> Say YES to all questions !!!
When you get to the option of entering a name, enter one or just follow the prompts to continue on..
Now, when you get to a:> prompt again, reboot the system (leave the floppy in) and make the same choice you did before at the menu..
Once you get back to a:> prompt from there, put your Windows cd in the driver, change the prompt from a to whatever your cd-rom driver is now (will be one letter higher than normal) and type in "setup" (no quotes)..
Guess what.. if you followed the directions correctly, Windows will start to load.. If it doesn't, print these instructions out and give them to someone that can understand them for you !!
