Converting a wmv file

I made a short video w/music using MS photo story 3 (similar to windows movie maker). I need to burn it onto a cd or dvd so it can be viewed on a tv through a dvd player.

I have roxio easy cd and dvd creator 6. Will that do it or do I need some other program?

What do I need to do? Please help, this is a father's day surprise! Thanks

Anyone know if either easy cd & dvd creator 6 or if DVD Xcopy can change a .wmp file to an .avi file so it's viewable on a dvd player & tv?

I made a video slideshow of pictures with music for my husband for father's day and I want to be able to view it on our TV through our dvd player. I have both of the programs listed above but don't know if they'll convert the .wmp file to something viewable on tv? (avi?)

Anyone know of a free one? I did the trial version of video converter but it'll only conver 50% of the file using the trial version. I can't afford to buy it. Anyone know of any free ones or good free trial ones?

Update. I tried the free trial of the one I mentioned above and yes it worked but only converted 1/2 my video which doens't do me any good :( I knew that ahead of time though. BUT now what has happened since I d/l it and ran it it converted my wmv files into wp3 files and my computer won't open them now! These are files I didn't run through the converter, they were just files I had on my hd. lol How do I get them back to wmv files?

Give this app a try Link (http://www.aoamedia.com/videoconverter.htm) its a trial ver but it will convert the whole file. It converts almost any format both ways so it may even help you restore the files you had. I converted a 126mb WMV to an MPG with no trouble but it does take a while so keep that in mind.
