Pigs bite off man's ear, testicle and part of his scalp

An Arkansas pig farmer lost an ear, part of his scalp and a testicle when his herd attacked him.

The 29-year-old was cleaning out the pigs' sty when they attacked.

One of his pigs knocked him to the ground and several others mauled him.

Bubba Burger, who lives near the city of Cotter, around 95 miles northwest of West Memphis, AR was knocked unconscious in the attack.

Doctors say his condition isn't life-threatening. They originally thought his brain might have been damaged in the attack but now feel it was always not quite right.

DR Anca Baizat of the local hospital's plastic surgery department said: "I haven't ever seen anything quite like it."

They will attack if there are piglets around sometime. One of my sisters and I climbed into a pig pen and each picked up a baby pig and the sow started charging us. We dropped the baby's and started running and she made it over the fence. I tripped over a root and that sow was all over my back. Forturnatly she had been eating and my grand father was right there and had a big hose and started hitting her with it till she got off me. I've never went into a pig pen since and my granny said if you want to pick a baby up, pick it up by it's tail so it doesn't squell.

Here's another true story about pigs.

My great uncle was a farmer in the Ruport Idaho area in the early 1940's. One day when he was out feeding his pigs he had a heart attack and died in the pig pen. No one knows how long he was in the pen but when they found him the pigs had eaten one of his arms and half of his face.
