I went to stystem tools then to system information. Under IRQs it has a list of a bunch of things and my video card. Could that be the reason my computer is slowing down a lot when I open something new?
If so, how do I fix that?

It could be a lot of things?
First I would dump my temp.files then ran a scan disk then defrag.
Post back and let us know how you made out.

Try upgrading the video card drivers. If that doesn't work, you probably need to reinstall windows.

foon_spork41, a list of items in the IRQ is not cause for concern. In fact, nearly every device you have installed should be listed there if they are working properly.
If your computer is running slowly, I suggest you have it checked out in the Cyber Safety forum. Could very well be a system hogging process or some heavy malware on your hard drive causing the slowdowns.
Download HijackThis (http://degs.cybertechhelp.com/files/hijackthis.exe) and save it to your desktop. Use the software to Scan your PC, then click "Save Log" to save the log it generates to your hard drive. It will open the log for viewing automatically, from there you need to copy/paste the entire log into a new thread in the Cyber Safety forum, following a description of your problem. :)
