Outlook Express problem

Hi

I have a Gmail account on Outlook Express.

The only problem is when I open it after putting in my account password and pressing enter on the keyboard the application totally goes into a freeze.

Then I have to force quit the app.

If any one could be of help that would be great.

To try the easiest thing first, disable your antivirus software and then try getting into your GMail account with OE. If that solves the problem, at least you'll know the culprit and can poke around in the AV's settings to see if there's a way to configure it to let OE through to the GMail account.

Also, double check your settings against the ones on this GMail page (http://support.email2pop.com/Gmail_Outlook_Express.html) to make sure they're correct.
