I reinstalled Win98 on my daughters PC, got the networking up and running, then when we clicked on the IE, we got an error that said 'there is not enough memory to open the interent wizard, please close down other programs and try again'. The only other program that has been installed is the software for the network card. And no other applications that would be running unnecessarily aren't. What can we do to fix this problem so she can open IE?
Thanks!

Try the suggestions in this Microsoft article Failed to Load the Internet Connection Wizard Helper Component (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q224828) Tadertot.
Let us know if this helped.

Hmmm, those files should be there Tadertot. Try extracting new copies from your CD, see Step 3 in that article.

Hi,
Delete everything in c:\programme\Iexplorer
Uninstall NIC driver software and re-install it.
reinstall Explorer 6 again and if this does'nt solve your problem
then just forget about IE and start using any other alternative browser such as Maxthon, Wichio, and make it as your default browser, problem solved forever, hahahahha
bye
