i recently installed a router in my house but for some reason my computer isn't connecting to it at its full potential and sometimes not at all, sometimes when i'm browsing the net the signal will just get lost, and i have to wait a couple minutes for it to reconnect, it happens randomly and sometimes my network doesn't show up on the list of wireless networks...
when i am connected to the wireless network it only connects at 54mbs when it is capable of 100 mbs...sometimes the signal strength is low also

This forum is usually very quick and helpful but both my topics are being ignored right now :(

manjy90, neither are being ignored. In less than an hour's time, what can you expect from such a busy forum? Several have seen your thread already and the right people will see it before long. Sit tight.

manjy90,
In addition to what pwrmngr questions, the other things to look at are: How many walls are between the router and computer? Are there any electrical devices close to the router?
Sometimes raising the router helps or switching channels. Do you see other wireless networks?
When you post back please include the router make and model and the wireless card make and model.
