View Full Version : CD contents on hard disk

Just to keep my CDs from scratching, I want to save all the contents of the CD on my hard disk( i have a lot of space) & play it without inserting the CD in the cd drive. But when I try to do this , it says please insert the CD . Is there any way , I can do this ? can any one tell me please , how to do this ?

It's a copyright restriction. You can look into CD emulation.

I've done this before with copy protected cd's or whatever. I simply used nero to rip the image to the harddrive, then when I want to run something off the disk, even be it a video game, I would load the image with nero image drive. The image would appear in my computer as a removable media device =)
