user profiles in wan

Hi all,

I have vpn connection with 64 Kbps to our warehouse. In that warehouse , I have 3 pc for 24 users (they can switch their username). When computer login to domain controller and use file server, its was very slow (it took 5-10 minutes) because domain controller and file server (contain roaming profile) is in other city. If i want to change this achitecture, do u guys know the best achitecture for this problem ? what is bandwidth limitation for user profiles ? thank you all.

The rule of thumb is that roaming profiles take longer to load because they are being loaded from the server. Depending on bandwidth, server speed, and use this could mean a long load time for a roaming profile. Right off the top of my head I'm not sure about bandwidth limits but the slower the connection then slower the load time.
