I have just started up a new Dell desktop running XP (Home) with SP2. I installed Office 2000 Pro from my old computer and appears to be functioning well except for 1 issue. When using Outlook Express 6 I have experienced trouble saving mailed, opened Word docs. Clicking "save or save as" makes the file's border & title area pulse and I am unable to save or do anything else to the file. If I click away from the file and then click back on the file I will slowly get a save to temp file window. I can then proceed from there to save it to my hard drive but would like to find a way to avoid this annoying issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions? FYI, the computer came with an installed Norton antivirus/security package. Thanks.
