View Full Version : Can't Open Task Manager or Regedit

Hey, I have an older computer and recently I had a virus that wacked up my system and left some things not working properly. When I hit Ctrl-Alt-Dlt and the screen comes I click task manager and it opens for 1 second and then closes for no apparent reason. It leaves the icon for task manager on my toolbar at the bottom of the screen and it disappears when I move the mouse over it. Also, when I try to open regedit it closes without cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Justin.

Also, when I go to system tools disk defragmenter opens for 1 second and closes, system information doesn't open, and disk cleanup doesn't open.
