Custom Avatars

So I don't have the option to upload a custom avatar.
I think from what I've read I have to have 30 posts to get the option.
Is this right ?
And when I can use one what size ? what format gif, jpg etc? and can it be annimated.
Does a post just saying "Hello Doris" eg count towards my 30.

LOL, yes. All posts are included in your post count, which has nothing to do with custom avatars or really any other feature of the forum for that matter. :)

Best thing to do is spend 5 bucks to become a CTH subscriber then you get all the tech help you can take plus custom avie.
