Hi,

My aim: To set up a wireless network with A desktop pc and my laptop - I wish to share files on each system.

What I have done: I have installed a Netgear 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter into my pc.

I have installed a Netgear 54 MbpsWireless PC Card into my laptop.

and finally have a Netgear rounter in opperation.

Whats happening: everything seems to work fine and I can access the internet on both computers with no wires.

The only thing is I don't know hoe to file share. How can I access my laptop files from my Desktop PC and vice versa?

I cannot use XP's wizards to set up because I am using NETGEAR software, they have a troubleshooting .pdf format but it's complete gobblydy gook to me!

Please can someone help poor little me!! :(

Yours hopefully

Ste (minus hair!)

The netgear software as I understand it would be to view available wireless networks then connect to them. You should still be able to run Windows network setup wiz.
