Wireless
Think wireless internet access and other wireless technologies will ever happen, eventually? It would be pretty far-out, God, you should see the tangle of wires and cords under my desk, haha! Apparently it ain't too successful right now!

I can get wireless for the same price as DSL service. I don't have it due to bad line-of-sight (too many damn hills, and buildings or I would have it).
Apple makes the Airport which allows for wireless connects betwwen your computer and the phone/cable line. The main problem with wireless would be - if anyone remembers the days when cable TV was wireless. A small thunderstorm and your cable was out. Same problem with wireless internet. Here in Oregon it tends to rain some, okay well, quite a bit during winter. So there would be no connection for a great deal of the winter months.

It's being trialled in Leeds and Bradford in the UK (i'm halfway between the two btw) for £10 pcm, I'm tempted but I'm likely to be moving fairly soom.
