Hi guys, new here and hope to become a regular.
I bought a new computer last month. It was working beautifully until recently. The only game I’ve run on this comp is battlefield 1945. Recently it’s developed this problem where it keeps having glitches during play. Everything (picture, sound, mouse movement...) freezes for say 1/4 of a second, the back to normal, then two seconds later another glitch and so on. It’s gets more frequent as it goes on. The period of these on/off switching becomes so frequent that it’s pretty much ½ second on – ½ second off. This keeps happening even for a few minutes after I’ve quit the game. Then everything is back to normal. My system is more than capable of running a game like battlefield, so what could it be?
I should mention that I have a TV tuner card on that computer, although only recently I plugged in an antenna cable. I think it’s then that this glitching started. I’ve tried disconnecting the antenna cable, but that has made no difference.
Also that computer has never been connected to the internet, so no bugs.
