Network connection cuts out randomly
I have two computers set up through a Netgear router. One is connected with an ethernet cable and the other is connected wirelessly. The one connected wirelessly loses its connection occasionally. I have not noticed any pattern in these disturbances. If I right click on the wireless connection icon and tell it to repair the connection it starts working again.

Welcome aboard.
What model of Netgear is it? What firmware is it? What operating systems are you using? Is the wireless nic a netgear also or?

Ok CM I would try updating the Firmware to Version 5.0_07 as I had a similar proplem with my d-link.
Then let me know if that fixes it. ![]() |

I upgraded the software for the router and the adapter, and haven't had any problems yet. Thanks.
