Hello all,
I just purchased a Linksys Wireless 802.11B USB adapter (model#WUSB11) and I installed the software that came with it. According to the user manual, the software should show an icon in the system tray. Well, I see no icon, but oddly enough, the WUSB11 application shows up in the "Close Program" window (the one that pops up when I press ctrl+alt+del). I tryed opening the Start Menu entry for the network monitor, but immediately upon opening, the program closes (the taskbar entry for the program is drawn for an instant, then dissappears). I tryed force quitting the WUSB11 program, and then reopening it from the start menu with the same results.

Please help
I dont know what to do at this point. Nothing seems to want to get this program to open for me.

The computer Im working on has Windows ME installed, if anyone needs additional specs, feel free to ask.

Whoa, I solved the problem. Turns out, logging in with the correct password (this particular system required a password for login) rather then just pressing the cancel button made the program work

w00t :D
